home burned - total loss.

I live in Oklahoma and received hail damage to my roof . When the insurance adjuster came out he stated my gutters, 2 screens, and a small portion of ceiling damaged from a leak would be included in claim. I received a check with mortgage company on it which I knew would be the case. I had the roof repaired and have had to wait 3 weeks for the remaining money owed to the roof contractor after a lot of phone calls. The mortgage company claims roof was 87% of the claim but will not release the rest of the money till rest of work is done.

I need to know if I do not have flood insurance, will my insurance pay for my AC breaking down while I was at work and leaking water on the floors and in the walls. I have had this house for less than a year

I would like to know which is cheaper to insure, a house on a slab or pier and beam foundation? The only plumbing left in our slab is sewer. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have an in ground pool, when going to open it up this spring the linear was ripped causing water to leak out. I need a new linear costing $4,800. After the linear was removed the vermiculite base was damage badly and eroded away badly in some spots, due to the leak. The pool guy gave me a quote of $6,000 to install a new vermiculite base. My home owner policy covers "other structures" my deductible is $1,000. My agent said the adjustor probably wouldn't approve the claim, stating the damage probably happened over time and its a maintenance issue.
