Hi, I’m in the process of a career change. A year ago I was arrested for drunk in public that resulted in a misdemeanor. I’m required to obtain my insurance license for new employment. Would the misdemeanor hinder my approval?

I had a 4 count misdemeanor retail theft charge 8 years ago. I had my record expunged and no charges since. Will I be able to get an insurance license in the state of PA?

I have a misdemeanor for tampering or damaging evidence but im supposed to take my exam to become a licensed life and health insurance agent.this happened back in aug of 2015 ,will this hurt my chances of being licensed?

Hello, I have a petite theft misdemeanor of under $100 on my record from 5 years ago and a drug paraphernalia misdeamenor from 5 years ago. I passed my online course and my state exam and I applied for my Florida Insurance Agent lincense yesterday and was finger printed for my backround. Will my past mistakes on my criminal record cause me to be denied for my Insurance License? Also, if not, how long will it take to receive my Fl. Insurance License so I can start with the company who wants to "appoint" me. Thanku ;)

I had a misdemeanor burglary charged in 2004 that was expunged but still appears on my doj and FBI background check I had a dui in 2011 that was dismissed nothing else since then I've been at my job as a csr for 9 years would that affect me getting my P & C license if it does I will totally be out of a job in the next few months =( since its now required to be licensed where I work.

HELLO I APPLIED FOR PROGRESSIVE, I WAS TOLD FACE TO FACE THAT I PASSED INTERVIEW AND ALL TEST. BUT WHEN SHE ASKED ABOUT MY CRIMINAL BACKGROUND, I WAS VERY HONEST AND EXPLAINED THAT IN 2010 WAS CONVICTED OF A MISDEMEANOR SHOPTLIFT CHARGE AND IN 2016 WAS CONVICTED OF SIMPLE BATTERY(BOYFRIEND HIT ME AND I HIT HIM BACK WHERE BRUISES CAN BE SEEN). BOTH CASES ARE CLOSED. SHE STATED THAT THE FEDERAL BACKGROUND CHECK WILL DENY ME SO UNFORTUNATELY I WONT QUALIFY. HOW TRUE CAN THIS BE?(IN THE STATE OF GA)
