I have a Hardishake roof that is crumbling and falling apart. I've tried to get a warranty claim from the company to no

1) tree fell on home
2) adjuster came and said one side of home could be sided and sent a check made out to us and mortgage company
3) we do not want to side just one side the damage is not noticeable
4) mortgage company will not sign check since we don't want work done
5) aren't we entitled to that money even if we do not do work?

We had a house fire due to a faulty fire place and no fault of our own. Insurance company worked with us to repair and replace house back to livable condition. We are now in a final settlement dispute over contents replacement and total loss recovery and time of claim is one year which will be up in three weeks. The adjustor sent us an initial offer which is way lower than what we had submitted for claim. We have sent a informal letter to adjustor on our counter-offer and had not heard from him in three weeks. what would be our next step?

I recently had a roof claim paid on my home. When the roofer started work he found out that the back part of my house is shake with decking laid over. The adjustor who came for the insurance company did not catch it and my insurance check was only for a regular tear off not for new decking. It is against city code to roof over wood shakes. The insurance company basically said that it was my responsibility for the difference.

I just purchased a Condo and my loan officer said that I need to have a HO6 insurance as per recent changes in policies (even though I paid for flooding, hazards, etc. as part of my HOA fee). Is this true? Even if I need to get one, how much do I need and where could I get the best rates?

Flood insurance

Hi,

I have a garage where I place all my business goods to be sold later. Recently, a pipe broke and flooded the entire unit. There was 60 units of commercial vacuum cleaner and they were submerged in ice cold water for a few days. The claims adjuster asked me for the receipts. Though I didn't pay much for them, but I was going to resell for $250 each. Can anybody tell me what would they base the claim against? The worth of the vacuums or what I paid for it? I had flood insurance and the vacuums are retail at 500 new.

A homeowner washed the damaged clothes by the washing machine and cleaned the house before the mitigation company came. Can the home owner claim the labor to wash the clothes and clean the house or the home insurance policy only pays the expense made by the others? Thank you for your answer.

An house recently had water damage due to the bust pipe. The treadmill, DVD, computer and TV were soaked. I do not want to keep them because the soaked electronics equipment quality has no guarantee. Can I demand for the loss as the disposal instead of repair with my home insurance or I must have them repaired? Thank you for your answer.
