You may have been independent all your life and in the future too would like to take care of your needs. Sudden death in the family can leave everyone perturbed. No one is usually prepared for such an incident. A final expenses insurance may be of help in times of need.

Final expenses insurance covers the cost of burial and other unexpected expenditures. In the event of death of a loved one, you may not always be prepared financially to bear the expenses associated with the incident. If you have invested in final expenses insurance, you can take care of the final costs as your loved ones had wished.

I would be interested to see if anybody has actually done anything with "FinalExpensesGuru." The only website I can find for them is a very poorly made, free platform based website. For somebody that has been working with many different agents for over two years, the wesbite definitely does not reflect ANY level of success.

It brings us back to the original thought...should insurance products be sold to the Senior Market over the phone with no face to face interaction?

Hi friends..

should insurance products be sold to the Senior Market over the phone with no face to face interaction?

It's often difficult to know whether they have any physical ailments. For instance, if they are 'hearing impaired' and have not informed you regarding it during the course of the call, then your hard-earned sell would go for a toss.
Some of the sales offers might just seem inexplicable to them if such offers involve any critical value analysis.

Hi,

You could try to sell it to those senior people who sound absolutely confident over the phone. I'd personally not run into the risk of pitching it to a senior customer, only to hear at the close how my explanation of the cost seemed complicated over the phone. I'd rather send them brochures so that they may go through it and develop a fair idea about the product.
